Hello, my name is Joe Goude, and I am a current board member of CASA.  I have lived and worked in Central and Southside Virginia for all of my life. I graduated from Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte Court House and received my BBA from Averett University. I currently live in Forest with my wife, Karen.

I have been employed with Beacon Credit Union for 18 years and currently serve as the Senior Vice President of Retail.  Our company’s charitable focus has always revolved around children. We partnered with CASA over 4 years ago because of their commitment to the well-being of the children in this area. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to be involved with many charitable functions that help support this organization.  In 2017, I was presented with the wonderful opportunity to become a board member and jumped at the chance.

There is a great need for children to have a voice. A voice not heard is a voice often overlooked.  CASA employees and volunteers are imperative in the process of allowing their voices to be heard. Please take some time and learn more about this remarkable organization. There are numerous ways you can contribute. Consider donating your time to assist with one of our annual fundraising events, or better yet, become a volunteer child advocate.
